JOB VACANCY
Weekend/Part Time Delivery Driver

Pay Rate negotiable for the right person.

Hours – varies between 8-24 hours per weekend depending on work load.
Must be over 30 due to insurance and driving company vans, and hold a full clean driving license with a minimum 3 years experience
JOB DESCRIPTION – Working for a small but busy Essex based bouncy castle and soft play hire company based in Thurrock. Applicant will be required to load/unload and drive a LWB van and some warehouse duties will be required. Responsible for the delivery and collection, including setting up and dismantling of equipment at customers homes, halls or venues, schools and events. This is a customer facing role. Some cleaning and maintenance work may be required. Full training will be given.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent time keeping skills are essential in this busy fast paced industry with deadlines to meet throughout the working day.
- Applicant must be physically fit, and able bodied, as heavy lifting is involved, and must be prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Applicant must adhered to and have a basic knowledge and practical understanding of Health and Safety.
- Applicant must be presentable, reliable and polite and have good communication skills as will be dealing face to face with customers and the public.
- Applicant must be trustworthy and competent as will be handling and responsible for company cash
- Applicant must be flexible as hours will vary and could involve early starts, late finishes, long days and staggered hours.
- Applicant must be a team player as you will be working as part of a small team but also be able to work alone.
